Conocimos a Ben Schultz jugador del equipo Machine Politics en el WHBPC 2010 de Berlín.
Durante los cuartos de final (creo!) los Machine Politics de Chicago jugaban contra los Beaver Boys de Milwaukee y me he dado cuenta que uno de los jugadores de los Machine Politics estaba con problemas con sus straps, con la lluvia el velcro dejo de pegar.
We met Ben Schultz, team player for the Machine Politics at the WHBPC 2010 in Berlin.
During the quarter-finals (I think!) the Machine Politics from Chicago played against Beaver Boys from Milwaukee and I noticed that one of the players from the Machine Politics was in trouble with his straps, with the rain the velcro stop working.
Después de terminar el partido, me acerqué a Ben con un par de Bastërd Straps y se los dejé para que jugase los últimos partidos.
Me enteré que el nos había estado buscando para comprar unos, pero justo ese día nos retrasamos a montar nuestro local de venta y Ben se compró otros straps de otra marca.
After the end of the game, I went to Ben with a couple of Bastërd Straps and left them for him to play next games.
He told me that he had been looking for us to buy a pair, but that day we set up our mini shop late in the morning and he couldn’t find us, so he bought some other brand.
Ben y los Machine Politics jugaran dos partidos más, uno que ganaran contra L’equipe y la final contra los Beaver Boys donde perdieran 1-5 quedando la clasificación final en:

Al día siguiente teníamos un email de Ben:

An idea focused on another way to perceive the economy and trade relations.
A global idea of what is ecology combined with the bicycle as a mode of transport and with some local organic food.
This way the help peasant agriculture to survive and develop in accordance with nature and maybe make the world rhymes a little more in harmony.

Tour de Ville and EHVFXD invite you to our multi-disciplinary cycling event entitled Life Cycle, which consists of design exhibition, alleycat race, and celebration party. Originated by bike messenger community, urban bicycle culture has been drastically growing lately in several aspects such as design, fashion, and art. The Life Cycle event aims to capture and celebrate this progressive movement in order to stimulate not only cyclists, but also audience in various creative fields.

Llega el BMF (Bicycle Music Festival) a Barcelona, un concepto sostenible organizado por Pleasant Revolution, donde músicos e instrumentos se transladan en bici por la ciudad, y la música se genera gracias a la energía de las bicis. Esta iniciativa se une a la fiesta de las Acciones Climáticas Globales 10/10/10 – Un Día para Cambiar together with www.350.org and www.1010global.org/es.
Cada localización tiene diferentes conciertos y acciones de varias ONGs que intentan combatir el cambio climático.

The BMF (Bicycle Music Festival) rides into Barcelona this weekend. It’s a sustainable concept organized by Pleasant Revolution, where musicians and instruments travel around the city on bike, and music is generated by the bike’s energy. This initiative is a part of the celebration of the Global Climate Accions 10/10/10 – Un Día para Cambiar together with www.350.org and www.1010global.org/es.
Each location has different concerts and actions from several ONGs that fight the climate changes.
We will be there, together fighting for a sustainable planet!
